Girls ball raising money A bake sale, car wash and yard sale will be held by the Pea Ridge High School girls'basketball team at Auto Center, West Slack Street, beginning at 7 a.m. Saturday, July 12. Proceeds will help fund camp attendance for team members. Fall baseball Fall baseball sign up will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. July 9-10 in the upper elementary school gym. Fee is $ 25. Awards ceremony End-of-the-year awards ceremony for baseball players will be Saturday, July 12, at the ball field on Weston. At 5 p.m. there will be free hot dogs for the players. At 6 p.m. trophies will be presented. Football sign ups Football sign up will be from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. July 9-10 in the upper elementary school gym.
In order to have the correct jersey size, it is recommended that the players attend the sign up. Numbers are limited and are first-come, firstserved. After the list is full, players will be put on a waiting list.
Try outs for second- and third-grade players will be held at 6 p.m. Aug. 12 at Pea Ridge City Park.
Coaches are Dickie Winn, 586-3424, and Vernon Leach, 721-3420, second and third grade; John Johnson, 903-4438, fourth grade; Curtis Jennings, 903-2008, fifth grade; and Mark Davis, 336-2177, sixth grade.
Registration fees are $ 45 for second and third grades; and $ 50 for fourth through sixthgrades.
