The library is in a mess right now — but, we finally got a new roof (you know, the kind that doesn’t leak when it rains, there is a heavy dew, or birds fly over and well, you know !). Now that it is water free, the city is fixing the children’s reading room with a new ceiling, repair, new lights and a new paint job. I really appreciate Adam and Tony’s hard work; they are doing a great job. Then, two girl scouts are going to come in and decorate and organize the books. I can’t wait ! When you come to the library, please excuse the mess and don’t stub your toes on the stacks of books on the floor !

There is still plenty of time to sign up your children for the Summer Reading Program. It is going strong and since it doesn’t end until July 31, there’s lots of time left to read, read, read.

The cookbooks are here; we have sold a lot of them. The books are here at the library and Community First Bank. During the week of the fair, we will have a table in front of the library offering samples of goodies from the cook book. Come by, sample the goodies and buy a book !

Here is a quick list of some of the new releases we have on hand:

“ Mr. Monk Goes to Germany ” by Lee Goldberg

“ Sarah’s Window ” by Janice Graham

“ Sister’s Choice ” by Emilie Richards

“ Tribute ” by Nora Roberts

“ No Choice But Seduction ” by Johanna Lindsey

The complete set of “ Cirque Du Freak ”

“ Forever In Blue ” (book 4 )
