Josefina M. Camacho Josefina M. Camacho, 83, of Rogers, Ark., died Thursday, July 3, 2008, in Fayetteville, Ark. She was born May 20, 1925, in Caņada de Pastores, Cardenas, San Luis Potosi, Mexico, to Arnolfo Martinez and Francisca Zarate.
She was a member of Centro Cristiano Hispano church.
Survivors include her husband, Agustin Camacho of Rogers; four sons, Cirilo Camacho, Pasiano Camacho, Hilario Camacho and Emiliano Camacho; four daughters, Concepcion Camacho, Maria T. Camacho, Victoria Caro and Maria de Jesus Becerra; 62 grandchildren and 34 great-grandchildren.

Jose Cordero, Jr., 24, of Rogers, Ark., died Friday, July 4, 2008, in Pineville, Mo. He was born Jan. 9, 1984, in Waxahachie, Texas, to Jose Cordero and Audelia Cordero.
He was self-employed.
Survivors include his parents, Jose Cordero and Audelia Cordero; two brothers, Raul Cordero and Mario Cordero; two sisters, Sandra Cordero and July Cordero; and his grandparents Simon Cordero and Maria Alvarado.

She was preceded in death by her husband, H. Earl Davis, in 2003; a son, John Davis; and a son-in-law, Edward Fluornoy. Taylor Deventer Taylor Deventer, 19, of Rogers, Ark., died Wednesday, July 9, 2008. He was born Sept. 12, 1988, in Corpus Christi, Texas, to Michael Deventer and Cynthia Morgan Deventer.
He graduated from Bentonville High School in 2007. He had recently worked at Best Buy and was planning to attend Northwest Arkansas Community College in Bentonville, Ark., in the fall. He enjoyed music, spending time at the family's country cabin in Parthenon, Ark., and caring for his dogs, cats and birds.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Eugene Morgan.
Survivors include his parents, Michael and Cynthia Deventer of Rogers; a sister, Andrea Danielle Deventer of Rogers; his maternal grandmother, Zella Livensparger of Denton, Texas; his paternal grandparents, Merton and Berdetta Deventer of Leo, Ind.; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.

Duffy, 85, of Gravette, Ark., died Friday, July 4, 2008, in a Siloam Springs, Ark., nursing home. She was born Feb. 16, 1923, in Catesby, Okla., to Calvin Bentley Childers and Celia Mae Calkin Childers.
She had been a resident of Gravette since moving from Pea Ridge in 1948. She was a homemaker and enjoyed sewing, quilting, reading, drawing and her flower gardens. She was active in the community and the First Baptist Church, where she was a member.
She was preceded in death by her brothers and sisters.
Survivors include her husband, Glenn Duffy; two sons and one daughter-in-law, Glenn Duffy Jr. and Betty Duffy of Gravette, and Michael Duffy of Atlanta, Ga.; a daughter, Mary Patricia Duffy of Tulsa, Okla.; a sister, Gladie Needham of Oklahoma City, Okla.; two granddaughters, Adela Duffy of Rogers, Ark., and Jessica Duffy of Atlanta; her lunchroom students; and many other relatives.

Theodore Edward Hartwig Theodore Edward Hartwig, 86, of Rogers, Ark., died Tuesday, July 1, 2008, at a nursing home in Rogers. He was born July 13, 1921, in Tomahawk, Wis., to Herman Edward Hartwig and Emily Boykins Hartwig.
He was a longtime member of the Sunnyside Baptist Church in Rogers. He was a World War II veteran, serving in the U. S. Army. He received the Purple Heart, the American Defense Service Ribbon and the Asiatic Pacific Theater Ribbon with two Bronze Battle Stars.
Survivors include his wife, Mona Hartwig; two daughters, Vera Feltis of Rogers and Loretta Hulce; a sister, Lola Kriger of Tomahawk, Wis.; and six grandchildren.

Ernest'Ernie' Kranski Ernest "Ernie"Kranski, 82, of Rogers died Wednesday, July 9, 2008, at Northwest Medical Center in Springdale. He was born May 30, 1926, in Sharon, Wisc., to August Kranski and Victoria Trzebiatowski Kranski.
He worked as a pipe fitter for American Motors / Chrysler in Kenosha, Wisc., for 28 years until his retirement. He was a member of UAW Local 72.
He and his wife, Rose Ann, moved to Rogers in 1997 and became members of the Benton County Senior Center in Bentonville. They were also members of the Wisconsin Club in Bella Vista.
He was preceded in death by his parents; 10 brothers; four sisters; and two granddaughters.
Survivors include his wife of 62 years, Rose Ann (Schrodel ) Kranski of Rogers; seven daughters, Kathleen (Marv ) Zwiefelhofer of Bella Vista, Jeaneen (Gary ) Anderson of Silsbee, Texas, Shirley Burdick of Kenosha, Wisc., Karolyn Spaulding of Bentonville, Kristine (Kevin ) Graham of Elkhorn, Wisc., Susan (David ) Castronova of Muscatine, Iowa, Vicky Kranski of Roger,; and two sons, Ronald (Debby ) Kranski of Kaukauna, Wisc., and Richard Kranski of Castle Rock, Colo.; a brother, Felix (Jean ) Kranski of Rosholt, Wisc.; a sister, Theresa Stolz of Stevens Point, Wisc; 24 grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren.

Betty Morgan Betty Morgan, 73, of Pea Ridge, Ark., died Tuesday, July 8, 2008, at Northwest Medical Center in Bentonville, Ark. She was born Sept. 21, 1934, in Pea Ridge to John Dryden and Hazel Crabtree Dryden.
A lifelong resident of this area, she was employed by Debbie and Danny Dare in Bentonville and Phillips Grocery in Pea Ridge, and retired after 11 years as a cook with the Pea Ridge School cafeteria. She was a Sew N Sew Quilter in Pea Ridge and enjoyed sightseeing.
She was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Cristy Graham.

Lucile Paul Lucile Paul, 77, of Siloam Springs, Ark., died Tuesday, July 8, 2008, at her home. She was born Oct. 20, 1930, in Saginaw, Mo., to Floyd Cochran and Ida Mae Michaels Cochran.
She graduated from Southwest Baptist University with an associate degree and from Missouri Southern University with a bachelor's degree in education. She was a math teacher at the Carl Junction (Mo. ) Elementary School and retired from teaching after 20 years. She was a member of the Siloam Springs Garden Club and the Siloam Springs Bridge Club. She created the library at the First Baptist Church in Siloam Springs.
She was preceded in death by a brother, Finis Cochran.

She was a homemaker and a partner in Sims Construction in Rogers. She was a charter member of Eastwood Baptist Church in Gatesville, Texas, and a member of The Church at Pinnacle Hills in Rogers.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Earl W. Sims; a brother and sister-in-law, Eurie "Bud"Davis and Elsie Davis; and a sister, Margaret Davis.
Survivors include a daughter, Janice Kay Vaughan; a sister, Elsie Stratman; a grandson, Steven E. Vaughan his wife Jill Vaughan of Rogers; and two great-granddaughters, Kaylen Vaughan and Tabitha Vaughan, both of Rogers.

Smith, 78, of Rogers, Ark., died Wednesday, July 2, 2008, at Heritage Park Nursing Home in Rogers. He was born Sept. 9, 1929, in Little Clifty, Ark., to Orville Leslie Smith and Mabel David Smith.
He was a veteran of the U. S. Marine Corps and the U. S. Air Force. He enjoyed fishing and hunting.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Clara Smith; a brother, Ray Smith; a daughter, Thelma Joyce Smith Kever; and a son, Leslie Earl Smith.

Whitis, 91, died Tuesday, July 1, 2008 in Rogers, Ark. He was born Oct. 27, 1916, in Sanger, Texas, to Jessie James Whitis and Eva Wallis Whitis.
He was a member of the local 798 Pipeline Union for many years. He enjoyed fishing, gardening and spending time with his family.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Carol, who died in June of 2007 after 69 years of marriage; and a grandson, Mike Coenan.

He was born June 6, 1927, in Humboldt, Kan., to Lavergne Wing and Agnes Ethel Carroll Wing.
He was a World War II veteran who served in the U. S. Navy. He was an operator at the Texaco Refinement Facility in El Dorado, Kan., before retiring to northwest Arkansas. He enjoyed hunting and fishing; and was a member of St. Vincent de Paul Church in Rogers and a member of VFW Post 3031.
Survivors include his wife, Mabel Virgilio Wing; a son and daughter-in-law, Michael Wing and Vicki Wing of Rogers; and a granddaughter, Brittany Wing of Rogers. Sgt. 1 st Class Anthony Woodham Sgt. 1 st Class Anthony Woodham, 37, of Rogers, Ark., died Saturday, July 5, 2008, at Camp Adder, Iraq. He was born Sept. 22, 1970, in Newport, Ark., to Lyndle Woodham and Katherine Scoggin Woodham.
He was salutatorian of his graduating class of 1988 at Concord (Ark. ) High School. He was involved with the Boy Scouts of America, enjoyed hunting, camping and spending quality time with his family. His passion was restoring and fixing up Ford Mustangs. He was a NASCAR fan. He loved his four chocolate Labrador retrievers, Hershey, Cocoa, Zena, and Boomhower.
Before being sent to Iraq he had been employed by Springdale Dodge. He was the motor sergeant for Delta Company, 1 st Squadron, 151 st Cavalry Regiment of Arkansas'39 th Infantry Brigade.
He was preceded in death by his father, Lyndle Woodham; maternal grandparents, Junior Scoggin of Pleasant Plains, Ark., and Florence Briggs, of Pine Bluff, Ark.; paternal grandparents, D. E. and Ruby Woodham of Concord; and a cousin, Jalissa Scoggin.
Survivors include his wife of 11 years, Crystal Woodham; two sons, Patrick Woodham and Mitchell Woodham, both of the home; his daughter, Courtney Woodham of the home; his mother, Katherine Woodham of Drasco, Ark.; a sister, Robin Cotten of Drasco; his fatherand mother-in-law, Dan and Peggy Pettay of Rogers; sistersin-law Staci Pettay of Bella Vista, Kylie Sutton and her husband, Bryan, of Rogers, and Erin Pettay of Rogers; nieces Breanna Pettay and Payton Sutton, both of Rogers; and nephews Trever Woodham and Tyler Cotten, both of Drasco.
Funeral services were held Tuesday, July 15, at the Southside Church of Christ with Jackie Chesnutt officiating. Burial, with full military honors, will be in the National Cemetery in Fayetteville.
A memorial service in Concord, will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, July 19, at the First Baptist Church of Concord, with the Rev. Darvin Carlton officiating. Arrangements were by Stockdale Funeral Services of Rogers.
