BUDDY WALK FUNDRAISER Chris Burke from the TV series "Life Goes On"and "Touched by an Angel"will be the headlining entertainment Sept. 13 at Helen Tyson Middle School, 3304 S. 40th St., in the Fourth Annual Buddy Walk Fundraiser hosted by the Down Syndrome Connection of Northwest Arkansas. Registration for the Buddy Walk is at 1 p.m. with the walk beginning at 2 p.m. Burke and his band will perform at 3 p.m. Proceeds will go toward promoting acceptance, awareness and inclusion for all people with Down syndrome. SHILOH MUSEUM Regular meetings normally held at the Shiloh Museum of Ozark History will be relocated through early October to the museum's General Store, located on the museum grounds, while new roofing is installed on the museum. Otherwise, the museum is closed to the public until early October.

The Northwest Arkansas Sacred Harp Singers will meet at 1:30 p.m. Sept. 14. LifeWriters, a group for people interested in writing the stories of their own lives or those of family and friends, will meet Sept. 15. Monsignor David LeSieur of St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church in Rogers will present "No Longer Strangers: The Hispanic Presence in Our Midst"at noon Sept. 17 at the First United Methodist Church's Ivey Hall at 206 W. Johnson Ave. The presentation is part of the museum's monthly Sandwiched-In Series. The Boston Mountain Chapter of the National Railway Historical Society will meet at 7 p.m. Sept. 18.
