Washington County Library System Washington County Library Systems provides services for local libraries in Elkins, Farmington, Greenland, Lincoln, Prairie Grove, West Fork and Winslow. For program details, call 442-6253. The Washington County Library System and the Friends of the Greenland Library will host an open house from noon to 5 p.m. Tuesday at the Greenland Branch Library. Activities will include an end-of-summerreading-program celebration featuring Marshall Mitchell, hourly book giveaway drawings for adults and children and refreshments all day long. Catch the Reading Bug !, the Washington County Library System's summer reading program, will hold special events for children from kindergarten through the sixth grade at 10 a.m. Mondays at the Farmington Public Library; 1 p.m. Mondays at the West Fork Public Library; 10 a.m. Tuesdays at the Elkins Public Library; 1 p.m. Tuesdays at the Greenland Branch Library; 10 a.m. Wednesdays at the Lincoln Public Library; 1 p.m. Wednesdays at the Prairie Grove Public Library; 10 a.m. Thursdays at the Winslow Public Library.
The Metamorphosis program will feature workshops for children from the fifth grade and up at 3 p.m. July 28 at the West Fork Public Library; 3 p.m. July 29 at the Elkins Public Library; 3 p.m. July 30 at the Prairie Grove Public Library; 3 p.m. July 31 at the Farmington Public Library; 3 p.m. Aug. 1 at the Lincoln Public Library.
