Clown Capers will teach the basics of face painting and balloon animal making to teens from 11: 45 a.m. to 1 p.m. Tuesday. Pizza will be served.
Each Thursday this summer at 10 a. m., a special event will take place in the courtyard. This Thursday it will be Teresa T. Magicianess with her unique program of magic, mystery and laughter.
Weekly events for children include Preschool Story Time at 9: 30 a. m., 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. Tuesdays and Wednesdays in the Children's Auditorium; School Age Program for children ages 6-9 at 9: 30 a. m., 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. Tuesdays and Wednesdays in the Shiloh Room; Junior Book Club for children ages 10 and 11 at 9: 30 a.m. and 11 a.m. Tuesdays; Lap Sit for Babies, for newborns to prewalkers, at 9: 30 a.m. Wednesdays in the Children's Area; Toddler Time, for walkers to age 3, at 11 a.m. Wednesdays in the Children's Area; Teen Creative Writing Workshop from noon-1 p.m. Wednesdays; Los Cuentos en Espanol at 4 p.m. Thursdays in the Children's Auditorium.
