Greenland High School will hold orientation for the 2008-09 school year at 5: 30 p.m. Aug. 12 for 11 th and 12 grades and at 5: 30 p.m. Aug. 14 for ninth and 10 th grades. Both events will be held in the high school cafeteria. The agenda includes schedules, parking spaces, handbooks, etc. Parents / guardians must attend with students.
Farmington High School will hold ninth-grade orientation from 6-7 p.m. Aug. 12 at the Rheas Mill Baptist Church and ninth- and 10 th-grade open house from 7-8 p.m. Aug. 12 at Farmington High School.
Elkins Elementary-Primary School (kindergarten through second grade ) and Elkins Elementary School (third through sixth grade ) will be conducting an orientation / open house from 6-7: 30 p.m. Aug. 14. Classroom / teacher assignments will be posted at this time. Parents and students are encouraged to attend and visit with their classroom teacher to obtain vital information concerning the upcoming school year. It will be a great time to see the classroom and school building.
