Favorite moment as a sports reporter: After a conversation concerning a defensive alignment, former Arkansas defensive coordinator Reggie Herring asked me in the spring of 2005 if I was sure I was in college, because I was "too damn smart" to be a college student. He then went on to put pink jerseys and red pants on players.

Favorite game you've covered: Matt Jones' fumble on a possible gamewinning drive of Arkansas' 22-20 loss to Texas on Sept. 11, 2004.
