Favorite vacation destination: San Diego for Comic-Con International. Favorite defensive lineman: Billy Ray Smith Jr. His sack and strip of the football from Texas A&M's Gary Kubiack that salvaged a 10-7 victory in 1981 is one of my all-time favorite Razorback plays.
Favorite moment as a sports reporter: Standing next to Jack Nicholson in the media room at the 1995 Final Four in Seattle. Unfortunately, security escorted him out because he didn't have a press pass. Favorite game ever covered: Arkansas' 76-72 victory over Duke for the 1994 National title and Arkansas' 27-6 victory over Texas in the 2000 Cotton Bowl.
Something I don't understand: There's a lot, but the most irritating is why junior high basketball for boys and girls in Northwest Arkansas is played at two different sites on the same night. Why split the crowds? Start the games earlier if need be, but splitting the games up seems to be a waste to me.
Favorite game you've covered this year: Arkansas' 92-91 basketball victory over Tennessee in the semifinals of the SEC Tournament and Arkansas' 31-30 victory over LSU to end a dreadful football season on a high note.
Favorite athletic performance I've watched: Matt Jones' and Darren McFadden's careers with the Hogs.
Super Bowl match-up/pick:
New York Giants vs. Tennessee Titans with the Titans winning.
Favorite beverage: Cherry Icee
Pet peeves: Too many to list.
