FCS hoops split at Mt. Judea

Fayetteville Christian built a large early lead it would never relinquish in a 54-22 blowout of Mt. Judea on Tuesday.
Caroline Eubanks and Lindsey McHenry had double-doubles for the Lady Eagles, who bolted out to a 25-4 lead after the first quarter. Eubanks had 17 points and 10 rebounds. McHenry had 10 points and 11 rebounds.
Fayetteville Christian (7-1, 2-1 1-1A ) travels to Union Christian Friday.
Mt. Judea 72
FCS 61 (sr. boys)
Fayetteville Christian (1-7, 1-2) kept it close in the first quarter, but could never get any closer than eight points in a 72-61 loss at Mt. Judea.
Jeremiah McClarty led the Eagles with 22 points and Blake Riley followed closely with 17. Ike Smith and Tony Johnson added 10 points apiece.
