LAST WEEK Hootens. com correctly predicted 29 of 42 games (69 percent ), nailing the point spread of Paragould by three over Trumann and Hoxie by 14 over Highland. For the season, Hootens. com has correctly predicted 98 of 121 games (76 percent ).
WEEK 4 PREDICTIONS (favored team in ALL CAPS followed by point spread )
1-4 A FARMINGTON (8 ) at Gentry: Farmington's twogame win streak includes TD victories over winless Ozark and Class 3 A Marshall. Gentry's improved offense keeps it close.
GRAVETTE (17 ) at Pea Ridge: Gravette must shrug off last week's 24-21 loss to Wellington, Kansas. The Lions gave up 17 fourth-quarter points, including a field goal with seven seconds left. Winless Pea Ridge averages six points a game.
PRAIRIE GROVE (3 ) at Huntsville: Prairie Grove lost three fumbles and didn't gain a first down until mid-way through the second quarter in last week's 23-6 loss to West Fork. Winless Huntsville surrenders 32 points a game.
SHILOH CHRISTIAN (24 ) at Berryville: Shiloh Christian continues to change its offensive mindset but not its winning ways. The Saints rushed for almost 300 yards in last week's 37-20 win over Greenwood.
4-4 A BOONEVILLE (4 ) at Clarksville: Booneville's secondary continues playing well. Tyler Collins and Jordan Reid have combined for five interceptions, while Dwight Ashley tops the tackle chart. Athletic Brock May becomes the first sophomore Bearcat to start the opening four games at QB in more than 40 years.
Dover at SUBIACO ACADEMY (1 ): Subiaco Academy looks for its fourth straight win after beating three Class 2 A teams who have a combined record of 2-6. Trojan QB John Rex Spivey has passed for 521 yards this season.
Ozark at DARDANELLE (7 ): Ozark still searching for its first win, but the offense continues improving. Dardanelle fullback Mark Haney racked up 242 all-purpose yards and three TDs in last week's 35-20 win at Atkins.
Pottsville at WEST FORK (8 ): Winless Pottsville playing well on D, but must find ways to slow West Fork QB Daniel Holiday and running back / receiver Taylor Genz, who have combined for more than 600 total yards his season.
