Arvest 10 TPX Top 96 1 The Arvest Bulldogs'junior varsity squad moved to 5-0 at the ongoing Super Series 16-andunder National Championship Tournament in McKinney, Texas, with a win on Wednesday. The Junior Bulldogs earned a 10-1 run-rule victory over TPX Top 96, a Dallas-area team.
Arvest hurler Alan Boyd went the five-inning distance in picking up the win. Boyd got good offensive support from the likes of Ryan Foster (3-for-3, 2 RBIs, 2 runs scored ), Clarke Smithson (2-for-3, RBI, 2 runs scored ) and Zach Gibson, who nailed a grand slam in the top of the fifth to effectively shut the door on TPX Top 96.
Arvest will continue tournament play against Brazos, Texas, today at 10: 45 a.m. Both teams are 5-0.
