Richard Myers, 59, of Springdale was charged July 17 with violating the Arkansas Hot Check Law. He is accused in April of writing a check for $ 3, 675 to Allred Properties on a closed account. A warrant has been issued for his arrest. Battery

Alton Lee Tanner, 27, was charged July 22 with residential and commercial burglary, second-degree forgery, theft of property, fraudulent use of a credit card and possession of drug paraphernalia. Lacy Jae Davis, 24, was charged July 22 with accomplice to residential burglary, second-degree forgery and theft of property. She is accused of helping Tanner break into a home, stealing items and writing forged checks. Theft of property
Christopher Erik Simmons, 35, was charged July 18 with theft of property. He is accused in June of cashing a check for the cost of materials for a construction job and then never buying the materials or doing the work. Battery
Brian Douglas Tiller, 26, was charged July 22 with second-degree battery. He is accused on June 30 of causing serious injury to another person. Terroristic threatening
Shelby Jewett, 37, of Lincoln was charged July 17 with terroristic threatening. He is accused on May 12 of threatening a boy with a gun. The boy, who lives in the same neighborhood, accidentally hit Jewett’s car with a rock, according to police. Theft of benefits
Daniel R. Huggins, 29, of Fayetteville was charged July 18 with theft of public benefits. He is accused in 2005 of falsely claiming that he was unemployed for several weeks and unlawfully receiving benefits totaling more than $ 5, 600. A warrant has been issued for his arrest. Burglary, theft
Amanda Dawn Logan, 27, was charged July 18 with commercial burglary and theft of property. She is accused on June 18 of breaking into Sonic and stealing $ 800.
