County Republican Women to conduct candidate forum Wednesday

Washington County Republican Women will host two candidate forums Wednesday featuring Arkansas Court of Appeals candidates and candidates vying against each other in primary races for Washington County Quorum Court seats.
The forum is set to begin at 11: 30 a. m. at the Clarion Inn in Fayetteville. The public is invited to attend.
Courtney Henry, a Fayetteville lawyer, and Ron Williams, a Rogers attorney, will face each other. They are vying for the District 3 Court of Appeals position.
During the Quorum Court candidates’ forum, incumbent Republican Joe Patterson, of Springdale, will face challenger Stacy Cavender, of Hindsville. They are vying for the District 13 seat. District 13 covers the northeast corner of the county.
The primary is set for May 20, when the nonpartisan judicial contests also will be decided.
Republican incumbent Micah Neal, of Springdale, will face challenger David Quin, also of Springdale. They are vying for the District 2 seat on the Quorum Court. District 2 includes a portion of Springdale.
