Hindsville man charged with theft of property
Dewayne Albert Evans, 42, of Hindsville was charged March 27 with theft of property. A warrant was issued for his arrest. He is accused on Dec. 5 of driving a truck, making a key and coming back later that evening to steal the truck. Woman charged with assault
Cindy Lou Yeager, 40, was charged on March 28 with aggravated assault on a family or household member. She is accused on Feb. 29 of trying to run over her boyfriend with her car while driving at a high rate of speed. A warrant was issued for her arrest. Woman charged with failure to pay child support
Tina Shepherd, 33, of Farmington was charged on March 27 with failure to pay child support. A warrant was issued for her arrest. She is accused of failing to pay more than $ 6, 400 in child support payments. Car theft charges
Mellissa Sue Landers, 22, of Springdale and Tyler Wayne Yeakley, 19, of Fort Smith were charged March 27 with theft of property. Warrants were issued for their arrests. They are accused of stealing a car on Feb. 25. Man charged with forgery
Ronald Dean McCool, 35, of Fayetteville was charged March 27 with forgery in the second degree. An arrest warrant was issued. He is accused on March 23 of signing his brother’s name, John McCool, on a traffic citation issued by an Arkansas State Trooper. False report filed
Chirag Salva, 25, was charged on March 28 with filing a false police report. She is accused on Feb. 28 of filing a false report with the Fayetteville Police Department regarding a stolen vehicle.
