Clinic celebrates milestone

The Community Clinic at St. Francis House will celebrate its 49, 999 and 50, 000 th patients during a holiday open house from noon to 1 p.m. today. St. Francis House is located in the Jones Family Resource Building, 614 E. Emma Ave., Suite 300, in Springdale.
The open house is open to the public; lunch is provided.
The honored guests are twins Naiara and Aaiara Miranda. Their mother entered, along with 1, 100 other mothers, utilized services at the clinic's Prenatal Pathways. She entered the program for early prenatal testing and pregnancy support, and her babies were born healthy at 32 weeks.
Founded in 1989, Community Clinic is a community health center that serves as a safety net and healthcare home for low-income and uninsured residents of Northwest Arkansas.
