Kendra Jo Powell of Ozark and Clint Lee Mainer of Charleston were married March 22, 2008, at Munger Chapel at the University of the Ozarks in Clarksville. Matt Whitson officiated the double ring ceremony.

Parents of the bride are Janet and Joe Powell of Ozark. Parents of the groom are Anna Evans of Booneville and Doug Mainer of Charleston.

Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore a gown of matte satin and organza with a modified sweetheart neckline and drop waist. The bodice was decorated with crystals and embroidery. The lace-up back flowed into a embroidered monarch length train with a scalloped and embroidered edge. She carried a bouquet of red roses.

Maid of honor was Kimberli Ingram. Bridesmaids were Amanda Cains, Morgan Lindley and Brooke Logan.

Best man was the late Dustin Langston. Groomsmen were Nolan Hawkins, Josh Brown and Chris Holland.

Flower girls were Addison McCaulley and Kaylee Whitson. Ring bearer was Caden McCaulley. McKenzie Jo Powell was the Bible bearer.

Ushers were Lance Carpenter and James Hillard.

Candle lighters were Lauren and Jordan Nagel.

Wedding music was provided by Casey Buck and Kiril Laskarov.

Guest book was attended by Whitney Jones and Jade Martinez.

A reception took place following the ceremony at Wiederkehr’s Winegarten in Altus. Servers were Shannon Calaway, Treva Chrisman and Ambrosia Hostetler.

After a wedding trip to Riveria Mayo, Mexico, the couple will live in Ozark.
