Engagements: Haire-Starnes

Courtney Elise Haire of Combs and Joshua Adam Starnes of Hindsville plan to marry at 3 p.m. May 24, 2008, at Baldwin Church of Christ in Fayetteville.
The bride-elect is the daughter of Charlotte and Jeff Haire of Combs. She is the granddaughter of Phyllis Haire of St. Paul and Fern and Doug Thornberry of Boston, Ark.
She is currently a nursing student at Northwest Arkansas Community College and is a CNA at Homestyle Assisted Living in Springdale.
The prospective groom is the son of Kittie Starnes of Hindsville and the late Jon Starnes. He is the grandson of Stella and Bill Starnes of Hindsville, Delbert Clark of Davis, Okla., and the late Betty Clark.
He is employed by Pratt Whitney in Springdale and is the owner of Starnes Quality Lawn Care.
