Kansas, Oaks hoopsters named All-State

FAIRFAX, Okla. - Organizers of the 13 th annual Oklahoma Indian All-State Games announced Thursday the names of the first and second teams for the 2008 basketball season.

First team selections are invited to play in the classic north versus south team championship games.

This year they will be held June 14 on the campus of Oklahoma Wesleyan University in Bartlesville. The girl's game begins at 6 p.m.

Second team selections are recognized in the press and the official game program, but are not invited to play.

Greg Lankston, of Kansas (Okla. ), and Casey J. Thompson, of Oaks (Okla. ), were the lone recipients from the Siloam Springs Herald-Leader coverage area to receive North Division first-team allstate recognition.

The first-team Girls North selections were: Sami N. Brake, Dewar HS, Seminole Tribe; Brea Brewer, Tahlequah Sequoyah HS, Cherokee Tribe; Ashley Cox, Pryor HS, Cherokee Tribe; Angel Goodrich, Tahlequah Sequoyah HS, Cherokee Tribe; Rayna S. Jackson, Porum HS, Keetoowah Band Cherokee; Julia Moore, Frontier HS, Otoe-Missouria, Pawnee, Iowa Tribe; Colby L. Morrow, Jay HS, Cherokee Tribe; Macy Moseley, Gore HS, Cherokee Tribe; Jessica Roe, Luther HS, Choctaw Tribe; Tara D. Smith, Vian HS, Cherokee, Creek, Comanche Tribe; Brittany L. Vann, Stilwell HS, Cherokee Tribe and Courtney Ward, Leedey HS, Potawatomi, Choctaw Tribe.

The first-team Boys North selections were: Takona (Hunter ) Buoy, Caney Valley HS, Delaware Tribe; Kenny Davis, Adair HS, Cherokee Tribe; Pacer Eubanks, Stilwell HS, Cherokee Tribe; Ryan H. Hudson, Preston HS, Creek, Choctaw, Cherokee Tribe; Terrrence W. (T. J. ) Hutton, Okmulgee HS, Creek Tribe; Greg S. Lankston, Kansas HS, Wyandotte Tribe; Trey Osborne, Dewey HS, Cherokee Tribe; Zach H. Roberts, Roland HS, Cherokee Tribe; Randal Z. Rogers, Vian HS, Cherokee Tribe; Mike Soap, Tahlequah Sequoyah HS, Cherokee Tribe; Casey J.
