Cheerleading scholarship

Kathy Tadlock from the Arkansas Activities Association presents Hannah Hawkins with a plaque and scholarship to be used at the college of her choice.
Hawkins, a senior at Gentry High School, was awarded the Kathy Tadlock AAA Scholarship at Little Rock May 4. Hawkins was co-captain of the senior high cheerleading squad and will graduate later this month at the top of her class.
Gentry cheer coach Joni Wilson said this is the highest honor in the state given by the Arkansas Cheer Coaches Association. Hannah had to submit a video, application and essay and Wilson had to submit a recommendation for her. She was selected by a committee as the winner of this award. “ This was a great honor for Hannah, our school and our community, ” Wilson said. “ She has worked hard and is very deserving. ”
