GlamorouZ brings home awards

GENTRY ñ The middle schoolís sixth grade World Trade Expo team, Glamorouz, placed third in the business plan division at the annual JBU World Trade Expo held Friday, Nov. 9, at the Northwest Arkansas Mall.
The competition, sponsored by Wal-Mart, encourages young entrepreneurs to formulate a business plan, create a product and then market that product. In addition to their blue and gold trophy, the team pocketed $ 50 in prize money.
GlamorouZ was one of several teams sponsored by Gentry teacher Bobby Hogan as part of a larger economics unit in sixth grade social studies. The team consisted of Brookelyn Williamson, Rebecca Evans, and Nacona Dunlap.
