Lessees welcomed back at RV Storage Facility
Posted on Wednesday, October 8, 2008
The resurfacing and restriping of Bella Vista Village's RV Storage Facility is complete, and lessees may begin moving back in this week.
Employees with the Property Owners Association will be operating the gate from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Saturday, Oct. 6-18, excluding Sundays.
The employees will confirm that all registration and operational requirements, as specified in the current leases, have been met prior to allowing items to be returned to the facility, Maintenance and Construction Director Mike Taggart said.
Access to the storage facility will not be possible at other times during this move-in period. Lessees who have not returned their items by 5 p.m. Oct. 18 should contact the POA's Maintenance and Construction Division to have registration validation completed.
Items stored in the temporary facility must be removed by Oct. 13.
To be eligible for return to the RV Storage Facility, all items must • Be currently registered with the POA • Have the 4-inch by 5-inch POA RV Space sticker attached • Display a current state license plate; and • Be operational.
In order to improve security and entry / exit monitoring, all security gate entry codes have been changed. New codes will be assigned upon completion of the validation process and activated by the end of the next business day.
After Oct. 19, normal hours of facility access for validated patrons will be 6 a.m. until 10 p.m. daily.
Those who lease a perimeter space by the fence must remember that by parking an item over the yellow line, which is closer than 5 feet from the fence, the perimeter feature of the Guardtronics security system is disabled. When that feature is disabled, all items within the fenced facility are subject to vandalism.
In order to protect and maintain the new surface of the facility, lessees should place appropriate sized pieces of 2-inch by 12-inch treated wood blocks under the tires and trailer tongues of their items. Gate attendants will give lessees the blocks at no charge upon completion of the validation process.
Blocks should be labeled or removed when not in use to prevent their disappearance. The blocks must be returned to the POA at the termination of a lease.
"We appreciate your cooperation and hope you enjoy the many recent improvements to Bella Vista Village's RV Storage Facility," Taggart said.
