Washington Regional Cancer Support Home in Bentonville will offer free clinical breast exams from 9 a.m. until 1 p. m., on Saturday, Oct. 11. The Cancer Support Home in Bentonville is located at 306 Highway 72 East.
The examinations are offered at no cost to the public and are performed by physicians and registered nurse practitioners.
Appointments are required. To schedule one, call 271-2257.
This is a manual exam performed by a licensed practitioner, not a mammogram. However, follow-up mammography and imaging services for women without insurance coverage for mammography are also available through the program. Interpretation services are provided on the day of the clinic for Spanishspeaking women.
