On the Way — Conor Oberst (Bright Eyes) and Jenny Lewis
Updated: Conor Oberst (also known as Bright Eyes’ frontman) is on the way to Fayetteville, his Web site and George’s Majestic Lounge confirm. He will be joined by Jenny Lewis, singer for Rilo Kiley, although this will be a solo performance for her.
Oberst is at work on a new CD, and a few of the new tracks are currently streaming on his Web site.
Tickets to the Sept. 23 show at George’s are $25 and go on sale at 9 a.m. June 20 (Friday) through George’s Web site.
This has all the indicators it could be an amazing show.
