Pollstar has just announced that Eddie Money, known for his hit singles “Walk on Water,” “Think I’m in Love” and “Two Tickets to Paradise,” will perform Sept. 5 at the Arkansas Music Pavilion in Fayetteville.

No word yet as to the opening act and how much tickets will be. As of this early afternoon, the date hasn’t been added to either the AMP’s or Money’s Web site.
It’s hard to say how many times he played in Fayetteville, though George’s Majestic Lounge has been one of the venues.

The Brooklyn, N.Y., native is known for his blue collar-style rock ’n’ roll that was most popular from the late 1970s to early 1990s. He was among the first artists to have videos on the newly launched MTV in the early 1980s. Shortly after, when the hits weren’t coming in anymore, he resurrected his career by partnering with Ronnie Spector, the former Ronette and ex-wife of famed music producer and notorious murder suspect Phil Spector, for the 1986’s “Take Me Home Tonight.” His last hit was 1992’s “I’ll Get By,” which made it to No. 7 on Billboard’s Adult Contemporary chart.

Stay tuned for more details.
