Raycom to televise UA-Florida game at 11:30 a.m.

At least it will be over early.

Arkansas and Florida will play in a regionally televised game on Raycom Sports, it was announced by the Southeastern Conference on Monday. The Razorbacks and Gators will kick off at 11:30 a.m. CT (12:30 p.m. ET) on Oct. 4 at Donald W. Reynolds Razorback Stadium in Fayetteville.

The game will mark the third network television appearance of the season for the Razorbacks. Arkansas was featured on Raycom Sports in its last home game against Alabama on Sept. 20. The Razorbacks are scheduled to appear on ABC Sports this weekend when they take on the Texas Longhorns at 2:30 p.m. CT. In addition, Arkansas appeared on a pay-per-view broadcast in a game against Louisiana-Monroe in Little Rock.

Arkansas is also slated to face LSU in the regular season finale on Nov. 28 in Little Rock in a game televised by CBS Sports. No further television arrangements involving the Razorbacks have been made at this time. Networks may wait until 12 days prior to a game to select that contest for telecast.

Additional televised games on Arkansas’ 2008 schedule will be announced as they are confirmed.

  1. “At least it will be over early.”

I can certainly understand where someone might feel this way…I also recognize we are on the lowest level of rebuilding state there is and QUITE POSSIBLY, this will be a tough game for us to watch. However, being the eternal optimist, I NEVER rule a game out and concede to any other team…especially when it’s still a week and a half away. Shame on you, Terry.

  2. [...] Raycom has picked up the UA-Florida game for another 11:30 am start. Felix Jones scored another TD this past Sunday Night.
