Ronnie Brewer to announce gift to UA

The University of Arkansas’ Office of University Relations has notified media of an event Wednesday at which Ronnie Brewer of the Utah Jazz, a former standout basketball player at the UA, will announce a gift to the university.

The announcement is scheduled for 11:30 a.m. Wednesday at the University House.

Obviously, the UA plans to release more details with the announcement Wednesday. What we know now is that two other speakers are scheduled for the event: Bill Schwab, interim dean of the J. William Fulbright College of Arts and Sciences, and Charles Robinson, department chair of the African American Studies program in the Fulbright College.
