Former Arkansas guard Patrick Beverley’s road of uncertainty may be ending just a skip over the pond, according to the Sporting News.
Sean Deveney is reporting early Thursday morning that Beverley is “on the brink of signing with a European team, in Germany or Turkey, and perhaps as early as Friday.”

The New York Giants picked up former Razorbacks receiver Marcus Monk off waivers today, the New York Daily News reports. Monk was cut by the Chicago Bears on Sunday as the organization trimmed its roster down to 75 by the NFL’s Tuesday deadline.

The Razorbacks’ depth chart for the Western Illinois game was released this afternoon. Noticeably absent from the depth chart is senior Will linebacker Elston Forte, a team captain who has been battling an unknown injury for several weeks.

Former Arkansas wide receiver Marcus Monk was waived by the Chicago Bears earlier today. Monk was Chicago’s last pick in the NFL draft in April, and caught one pass for 14 yards in two games during the Bears’ preseason.
