Olympics: Spearmon moves on to 200m finals

Former Hog Wallace Spearmon finished third in his 200 meter heat earlier today in Beijing and will have a pretty legitimate shot at getting a medal Wednesday night in the final.

Jamaica’s Usain Bolt, who lined up next to Spearmon in the semifinal, won the heat with a time of 20.09. The Associated Press reports Bolt, once again, seemed to be jogging near the end of the race.

That man is fast, folks.

Spearmon ran a 20.14 in the semi and will be one of three Americans in the 200 meter final.

Bolt is attempting to become the first runner to win the 100 and 200 meter races in the Olympics since Carl Lewis did it in 1984.
