SEC Media Days: Previewing Day 2

Rogers Redding, the SEC coordinator of football officials is up on the podium right now to open the second day of SEC Media Days. He’s explaining rule changes this year, including the outlawing of “horse collar” tackling and the new 40-second clock that will replace the standard 25-second clock after every play except for timeouts, possession changes, replays and other administrative actions.

Scheduled to speak today is Georgia coach Mark Richt, Alabama coach Nick Saban and Ole Miss coach Houston Nutt (it’s still weird to type that). We’ll keep you up to date here today.
