As a part of the NFL’s new rookie orientation program, McFadden visited the hall filled with bronze busts Wednesday and blogged about the excursion.

Here’s what he had to say, courtesy of YardBarker.com:

I was watching highlights of all the running backs. There was this one highlight when Dallas was playing Washington and they had the ball near the goalline. Tony Dorsett took the handoff, dipped inside, put his foot in the hole, spun and then bounced it outside. He left the defenders crashing into each other and scored. I know after watching that there are some things he did that I wouldn’t mind picking up.

McFadden was accompanied on the trip by Radiers Hall of Famers Willie Brown and Ted Hendricks. The NFL Network interviewed McFadden from Canton yesterday and that video can be seen at the Hall of Fame Web site by clicking here.

McFadden’s “Bronze Bust or Bust” tour starts this season in the Bay. Certainly he still has a long way to go to make the hall, but he may just be the strongest candidate from the University of Arkansas in history to do so.

Former UA running back teammate Felix Jones will visit the Hall on June 13 as a Dallas Cowboys rookie.
