Pelphrey’s a kicker
We all know Arkansas coach John Pelphrey is an intense guy during games. You can usually hearing him shouting over 19,000-plus in Bud Walton Arena here if you catch him at the right (or wrong, if you’d like) time.
Well, Pelphrey, reacting to a foul call with 12:53 remaining here in the first half against Auburn, kicked the scorer’s table in disgust. As a result, shards of red and white plastic exploded onto the red boundary of the court.
About 10 minutes later during a timeout the trusty crew here at Walton Arena replaced the Razorback-adorned plastic covering. Don’t want a broken home when ESPN is in town.
Hogs are up on the Tigers 31-18 with 7:51 left in the first half.
