Hogs-Gators ready to tipoff

As we get started here, a few observations:

- Bud Walton Arena is filled up. Today’s game against Florida has to be the largest crowd of the season.

- The student section’s “What’s that smell?,” “Who’s she?” and “Big deal” chants as the opposing team’s lineup is announced is… getting… old.

- Charles Thomas, who was suspended by head coach John Pelphrey Monday and did not play in the Mississippi State game Wednesday, is not starting. The senior forward will play today, though, off the bench.
