The heat is on
If you were at Arkansas’ 94-91 victory over Missouri on Wednesday, you probably noticed it was a tad toasty in Bud Walton Arena. There is a reason why the heat was jacked up. Arkansas coach John Pelphrey wanted it that way.
I talked to Pelphrey after the game and he said he asked the maintenance crew what temperature former Arkansas coach Nolan Richardson preferred inside the arena when he was coaching. When he found out, he then requested that the thermostat be set one degree higher.
“Certainly, if it’s good enough for him, it’s good enough for us,” Pelphrey said.

Let’s hope we keep the heat turned up on the court. Great job against Mizzou!
I honest;y was very pleasantly shocked that we won this game. I didn’t think that we would get blown out like we did last year. But, I really thought that we would lose by 10-15 points. That provides hope that Hawgball is back and bouncin’ the way it is supposed to in Bud Walton.
hehe……. 40 minutes of PEL. slacker ball is over and done with. GO HOGS!
Pelphrey won more respect with his last statement that he will ever know.Isn’t it nice to have a coach that can learn from others without it killing his EGO.Remember HDN.Pel is a breath of fresh air for the Uof A.
