Felix still hurting
Arkansas junior tailback Felix Jones‘ status remains uncertain for the Razorbacks’ game against Mississippi State at War Memorial Stadium in Little Rock on Saturday.
Jones, a 6-foot, 207-pound tailback, suffered a thigh injury during Arkansas’ 34-13 loss at Tennessee last weekend. He has gained 1,032 yards on 114 carries, and his average of 9.05 yards per rush attempt leads the nation.
“He’s still getting a lot of treatment,” Razorbacks coach Houston Nutt said. “He’s still very, very sore. We just don’t know — won’t know for a few days.

Is this the same type of injury that kept Peyton Hillis out of the late season games last year? It sounds like it. Man, we can hardly afford to lose Felix for the rest of the year. : >(
Don’t think it’s that serious. Hillis’ injury was worse because the bone calcified around the bruise.
It calcified because Nutt kept pushing him to come back and it kept getting worse. Its like a lower back injury. You have to take time off and let it fully heal.I hope Felix will take it slow and Hillis coaches him on what to do.
