Wayne Younger threw hisĀ  third interception of the afternoon. Senior free safety Kevin Woods was the recipient of the errant throw this time. He returned it 19 yards to FIU’s 23-yard line. It was Woods’ first pick of the year.

Tough guy QB

I don’t see how FIU QB Wayne Younger is still alive. The Panthers’ leading rusher already has over 100 yards on the ground at the half, and would have more if a long run hadn’t been called back on a penalty.
He’s taken a lot of big shots already in the game, and it’s likely he’s [...]

Monk back in the end zone

It was a long time coming, but Marcus Monk scored his first TD of the season on a 13-yard strike from Nathan Emert with 1:42 left in the first half. Arkansas leads 31-7.

Emert stays in

Nathan Emert remains under center for the Hogs late in the second quarter. So far on this day, he proven to be the more effective quarterback.

Darren McFadden fumbled the kickoff at Arkansas’ 34-yard line and it was recovered by FIU’s Trenard Turner. On the first play after the turnover, Razorbacks cornerback Michael Grant picked off FIU quarterback Wayne Younger and returned the ball to the Razorbacks’ 32-yard line. Net loss for Arkansas?
