Byrum misses 36-yarder
Two of the more accurate kickers in the SEC are having less-than-spectacular nights. Arkansas’ Alex Tejada missed a 41-yard field goal earlier in the game. Now, Auburn’s Wes Byrum shanked a 36-yard attempt. It’s still 3-0 in favor of the Tigers at the end of the third quarter.

One positive note is our defense looks to be hitting their stride a little bit & trust each other. Playing as a unit. Our offense however looks like a they do not practice. Our expectations , because of our running backs were set way too high. If we do not improve right now we will not be bowling anywhere but in the bathroom.
so how about a brief analysis of the game so far for someone who can’t watch the game… for example, it seems like the defense is playing well and everything else sucks… but I have no real idea…
you are 100% correct. The Hogs offense is Auburns best defense.
The defense is playing well, particularly in the red zone. But between the 20s, the Hogs have given up some yards. The Tigers really haven’t been able to capitalize on the opportunities they have created for themselves. However, they are controlling the time of possession. Overall, Arkansas’ defense looks improved. Let’s remember, though, that Auburn has the 10th best passing offense in the SEC.
