Maybe Jones should get some more touches

This may seem blasphemous. But perhaps Felix Jones should get his hands on the ball more. In the first half, he rushed four times for 44 yards, an average of 11 yards per carry.

Darren McFadden, meanwhile, gained 81 yards on 17 carries in the first two quarters, an average of 4.7 yards per rush. What do you think of incorporating Jones into the offense  more than he has been?

  1. I TOTALLY AGREE! GIVE IT TO JONES MORE OFTEN & HAVE BOTH HIM & D-MAC ON FIELD AT THE SAME TIME & IT WILL LOSTEN UP THE DEFENSE. HOUSTON NUTT & DAVID LEE DO NOT HAVE ENOUGH OFFENSIVE IQ TO HANDLE UTILIZING ALL OF OUR TALENT. SAME GOES WITH GETTING HILLIS MORE INVOLVED. LOOK AT LSU, THEY ARE LOADED WITH TALENT & DO A GREAT JOB AT SPREADING THE BALL AROUND.

  2. I’m fine with giving it to Felix all night. I’d like for Darren to get 150 and 2 TDs to keep him in the Heisman race, but if we can’t get it done against the Mocs, chances are he isn’t going to win the Heisman anyway.
