The Razorbacks haven’t attempted many downfield passes tonight, and the ones quarterback Casey Dick has thrown have fallen incomplete. So far, Dick’s longest completion of the game is the 24-yard touchdown pass to fullback Peyton Hillis. However, Hillis’ route was not a deep one.
After testing North Texas’ secondary last week, Arkansas looks reluctant to do the same against UTC’s defensive backs. Instead, the Razorbacks are trying to nickel and dime the Mocs’ defense with screen passes.
Again we are back to Mutt’s & Lees Offensive IQ, or lack of it! On one hand we are crippled at receiver & tight end, but if we cannot pass down field agaonst UT Chat, then how in the world will we ever against the remaining SEC teams & teeth of our schedule? Casey Dick has not improved one bit in my opinion since his true freshman season. He probably belongs more on a team the caliber of UT Chat.
