Breaking down the WildHog

For those interested in understanding the more detailed aspects of the WildHog (formerly the Wildcat), here is an interesting video filmed by CSTV.com. New offensive coordinator David Lee breaks down the three main components of the package that has been copied by other programs this season.

However, Arkansas has been reluctant in 2007 to run the renamed “Wildcat” in the same fashion it was used last year. Rarely have we seen Felix Jones line up in the slot and go in motion. Anyway, take a look at Lee’s explanation of the formation and its versatility with Arkansas tailback Darren McFadden at the helm:
