Tuck Named Starter

Freshman receiver Crosby Tuck has not only earned more playing time with the Hogs but also a starting role.

Tuck will start at split end Saturday ahead of London Crawford. The 6-1, 191-pound former Shiloh Christian Saint has caught two passes on the season, one for a 42-yard touchdown from Darren McFadden and one for a 40-yard touchdown from Casey Dick.

“We want him to have a bigger role,” Nutt said. “Get him some more touches.”

Reggie Fish will start at flanker ahead of Robert Johnson.

Marcus Monk (knee injury) is considered doubtful for the Kentucky game, but tight end Ben Cleveland (injured nerve in his neck) is going to attempt to practice this week.

  1. This young man has the “it” factor. I think he will show us that in the next few years.
