Darren McFadden continues to lead the Heisman Trophy straw poll conducted by Heismanpundit.com
McFadden captured nine out of 10 possible first-place votes, with the other going to Steve Slaton of West Virginia.

You know…there were others on this list that had a great first week. I certainly think DMc’s adversity and unselfishness (note his pancake block on Jones’ kickoff return) keeps him at the top of this list. He has respresented himself, and the University, admirably so far…hopefully, his numbers and attitude continue in this manner!
