Backup quarterback Nathan Emert finally made his appearance on Arkansas’ third offensive possession of the second half. Emert has one pass attempt this season, and he completed it for a seven-yard gain against Troy.
Running back Darren McFadden actually had thrown more passes — two — than Emert did prior to tonight’s game.

Arkansas quarterback Casey Dick hooked up with sophomore split end Lucas Miller in the end zone for a five-yard touchdown pass. It was Miller’s first career touchdown reception. The Razorbacks now lead North Texas 52-7 with 12:45 left in the third quarter.
