Tiger trio provides leadership for West Fork

An inexperienced offensive line has made West Fork one dimensional on offense, forcing it to rely almost exclusively on the passing of junior quarterback Daniel Holiday. He and multi-purpose threat Taylor Genz and receiver/defensive end Eddie Frazier, whose nine sacks lead the team, have provided leadership for the young Tigers.

Prairie Grove searching for significant win

Beating up on the 1-4A Conference’s also-rans have Prairie Grove poised for the playoffs again. Winning next week at first-place Gravette will mean more. The Tigers haven’t beaten a team with a winning record this year. A win over the Lions is the boost they need to propel them into the playoffs.

Beating Saints not essential for West Fork

West Fork faces a tough challenge this Friday at Shiloh Christian. However, next week’s game with Green Forest is more significant. That game will probably decide if West Fork goes to the playoffs for a third straight year.

West Fork’s playoff hopes not dashed yet

A loss to second-place Mountainburg took a lot out of West Fork, but the Tigers can still advance to the playoffs for a third-straight year. Winning two of their last three games should punch their ticket

West Fork in prime position

Despite an 0-3-1 start, West Fork can almost assure itself of a third-straight playoff appearance with a win over Mountainburg on the Tigers’ homecoming.

West Fork turns season around

West Fork salvaged its season last Friday, escaping from pass-happy Pea Ridge with a 21-14 win, the Tigers’ first triumph of the year. Taylor Genz and Bradley Bean’s fourth-quarter interceptions secured the victory. As West Fork’s line play has improved, the team has begun to find its rhythm. Junior Daniel Holiday, who’ll make his 20th-straight […]

West Fork is its own worst enemy

The Tigers’ penchant for shooting themselves in the foot is responsible for their winless start. Can West Fork stop self destructing and make the playoffs for the third straight year?

West Fork improving despite winless record

The Tigers were 2-1 at this point last year, poised for an impressive run through the 1-3A conference, where they finished second with a 6-1 record. Coach Bryan Dougan attributed the Tigers’ 0-2-1 start to his young charges playing positions they’re unaccustomed to.
