An inexperienced offensive line has made West Fork one dimensional on offense, forcing it to rely almost exclusively on the passing of junior quarterback Daniel Holiday. He and multi-purpose threat Taylor Genz and receiver/defensive end Eddie Frazier, whose nine sacks lead the team, have provided leadership for the young Tigers.

Beating up on the 1-4A Conference’s also-rans have Prairie Grove poised for the playoffs again. Winning next week at first-place Gravette will mean more. The Tigers haven’t beaten a team with a winning record this year. A win over the Lions is the boost they need to propel them into the playoffs.

West Fork faces a tough challenge this Friday at Shiloh Christian. However, next week’s game with Green Forest is more significant. That game will probably decide if West Fork goes to the playoffs for a third straight year.

It’s a beautiful day in the Ozarks and it’s going to be a fabulous night for football.
According to weather.com, it should be partly cloudy and a comfortable 70 degrees at kickoff tonight. Temperatures could dip down to 62 for the drive home around 10 p.m.
