Elkins’ postseason hopes are against the wall as the Elks (2-5, 1-3) need to win all three of their regular-season games to lock up a playoff spot.
The Elks travel to Green Forest tonight to face the Tigers at 7 p.m. The Elks close the regular season out with home games against Cedarville Oct. 26 and […]

The Lincoln Wolves might be 0-6, but their stats show steady improvement. The team was ravaged by injuries and defections early in the season, and the Wolves’ passing game was nowhere to be found.
Last week, Lincoln had two touchdown passes (both from sophomore QB Casey Williams to senior WR Michael Hoops) in a home loss […]

The Elkins Elks have fallen on hard times with low numbers and several key injuries, but they have come to a point in their season where the schedule isn’t as quite demanding. There could be light at the end of the tunnel
The Elks play at West Fork on Friday and then host Lincoln before another […]

Jordan Auslam, who missed Elkins last two games after having his appendix removed, will be back under center for the Elks this week against Shiloh Christian.
However, don’t be surprised if Drew Clark takes some snaps under center. He threw for 274 yards last week against Mountainburg and Elkins head coach Aaron Clark feels his squad […]

The scoreboard might not have reflected it, but the Lincoln Wolves were inspired by the return of sophomore quarterback Casey Williams to the field in last Friday’s loss at Green Forest. Williams recently lost his stepfather in a tragic automobile accident.
Williams finally got Lincoln’s passing game going, finding Michael Hoops for an 8-yard touchdown — […]

Prairie Grove needed only defense and special teams to blank West Fork 37-0 last week. Expect all three phases to be clicking against winless Lincoln. I’m predicting 300 rushing yards from Prairie Grove’s Wing T offense, with halfback Seth West going over 100 and speedy Anthony Sharp breaking a long touchdown run.
