HARRISON - All of Saturday's games at the Ozarks Baseball Classic in Harrison were canceled because of heavy rains Friday night.

The Rogers Mounties, who won their opener at the tournament on Friday, were scheduled to play two games Saturday.

The Mounties (6-4 ) beat Central Arkansas Christian 8-4 to advance to the semifinals of the eight-team tournament.

The Mounties (2-2 ) are back in action Tuesday with a 7 A-West Conference doubleheader against Springdale. Tigers 7, Wildcats 5 BARTLESVILLE, Okla. - The Bentonville Tigers (11-5 ) finished pool play 0-3 at the Bruin Baseball Classic but beat Neosho, Mo., it their final game Saturday.

Senior Derrick Lamp hit a three-run home run in the top of the final inning of the time-limited game to push the Tigers ahead.

He finished the game with 2 hits and 4 RBIs.

Junior Dan Beahm picked up the win, striking out 2 in 2 innings of work.

Independence (Mo. ) Fort Osage beat the Tigers 17-7 earlier Saturday to finish pool play.

The Tigers also lost 13-3 to Sapulpa, Okla., and 6-5 to host Bartlesville on Friday.

League-leading Bentonville (4-0 ) returns to 7 A-West Conference play with a doubleheader at Har-Ber on Tuesday. Lady Tigers 5, Lady Bulldogs 4 CONWAY - The Bentonville softball team knocked off 7 A-West Conference foe Fayetteville in the semifinals of the Conway Invitational.

The Lady Tigers (7-2 ) played in the championship game late Saturday night and the results were not available.

The Lady Bulldogs (12-1 ) rallied to tie the game at 4 with a two-run home run by Lauren Caudwell and a solo shot from Morgan Keller in the third inning of the timelimited game.

The Lady Tigers regained the lead in the top of the fourth when Whitley Johnson scored from third on a wild pitch.

Bentonville's Faith Lund then retired the side in the bottom of the fourth to end the game. She finished with 3 strikeouts, including one in the fourth.

The Lady Tigers, who had a bye Friday, beat Conway 7-3 earlier Saturday. Lady Chiefs 5, Lady Mounties 4 (PK )

SPRINGFIELD, Mo. - A day after beating Springfield (Mo. ) Glendale on penalty kicks, the Rogers girls soccer team lost in a shootout to Springfield (Mo. ) Kickapoo.

The Lady Mounties (10-3 ) jumped out to a quick 2-0 lead after the first 10 minutes but the Lady Chiefs rallied.

Megan Dougherty had three goals during regulation and Liza Eppley scored the other in the nonconference loss.

Kickapoo outscored Rogers 4-3 in the shootout.

The Lady Mounties (2-0 ) return to 7 A-West Conference action Tuesday with a trip to Fayetteville. Mounties 2, Generals 1 HUNTSVILLE, Ala. - The Rogers boys soccer team picked up a win during the second day of the Southern Soccer Challenge.

The Mounties (11-2-1 ) beat Greenville (S. C ) Wade Hampton behind goals from Henry Wildenborg and Marvin Carpio.

The Mounties played a late game at the tournament Saturday.
