Bella Vista incidents

Among incidents reported to the Bella Vista Police Department according to records, were the following:

• At 11: 31 a. m. Thursday, a caller at Euston and Witherby almost hit a dog and had it in custody. The dog was picked up and taken to the Bella Vista Animal Shelter.

• At 3: 02 p. m. Thursday, a caller on Melinda Lane reported marks on a door that indicated someone may have tried to break in.

• At 4: 40 p. m. Thursday, a caller reported someone backed into a vehicle in the Harps Foods parking lot, then took off.

• At 7: 15 p. m. Thursday, a caller at Grand Central Station reported a man was acting as if he was under the influence.

• At 7: 32 p. m. Thursday, a caller reported a white or beige Chevrolet Avalanche hit a vehicle near U. S. Highway 71 and Trafalgar, and the driver of the Avalanche left the accident.

• At 9: 39 p. m. Thursday, the dispatcher reported answering a 911 call but didn’t hear anyone on the line. After a short time, the dispatcher reported hearing a woman screaming in the background, and then a man picked up the phone, said “ Hello ” and hung up.

• At 3: 03 a. m. Friday, a caller reported a possible break-in on Britten Circle.

• At 9: 15 a. m. Friday, two small beagles on Haslingden Lane were taken to the Bella Vista Animal Shelter.

• At 2: 02 a. m. Friday, a caller reported her wallet may have been stolen at Grand Central Station.

• At 2: 43 p. m. Friday, a caller at Decker Eye Care reported an intoxicated woman at the business.

• At 2: 52 p. m. Friday, a caller at Grand Central Station reported the driver of a Cox Cable truck stole gasoline. Officers reported that Cox was sending someone over immediately to pay for the gas.

• At 4: 55 p. m. Friday, a caller on Sunderland Drive reported a construction crew had left debris in a ditch, and the debris was causing water in the ditch to back up, nearly flooding a house. The Street Department was notified.

• At 1: 25 a. m. Saturday, an officer reported kids were swimming in the Kingsdale Pool.

• At 2: 07 a. m. Saturday, two men at the All In One reported being assaulted in front of Hots in Missouri. Officers contacted the McDonald County (Mo. ) Sheriff’s Office and reported the incident.

• At 4: 52 a. m. Saturday, a caller at the Highlands Golf Course reported a broken window in the golf shed. Officers reported the window looked like it had been broken awhile ago.

• At 2: 05 p. m. Saturday, a caller on Hope Drive reported a dog might need water and shelter. An officer reported the dog was fine.

• At 3: 53 p. m. Saturday, a woman stopped at the Police Department to report receiving a harassing text message.

• At 5: 14 p. m. Saturday, a caller on Clevedon Circle reported a neighbor woman was banging on the caller’s door and peeking in the caller’s window, saying her husband was trying to kill her.

• At 7: 57 p. m. Saturday, a caller on Hatcher Drive reported a 17-year-old girl was drunk, throwing fits and had cuts on her arms.

• At 1: 30 a. m. Sunday, a caller on Worlaby Lane reported a physical disturbance between a man and a woman.

• At 1: 42 a. m. Sunday, a caller on Bethnal Road reported hearing someone prowling outside and knocking on his door.

• At 7: 43 a. m. Sunday, a caller on Castlebay Lane reported a vandalized mailbox.

• At 3: 03 p. m. Sunday, a caller reported a road-rage incident near Highlands, Kinross and McGrath, where a motorcycle rider confronted and struck a man driving a vehicle.

• At 4: 12 p. m. Sunday, a mother called to report receiving a phone call from her daughter, who was in a vehicle on U. S. 71 near a golf course and was in a verbal and physical altercation with a man.

• At 4: 12 p. m. Sunday, someone stopped at the Police Department to report that a neighbor was harassing another neighbor on Sundown Circle.

• At 7: 14 p. m. Sunday, a caller on Melbourne Drive reported three or four children, ages from about 2 to 8, were playing in the street, and their mom was on the phone and not paying attention. An officer was unable to locate the children.

• At 8: 48 p. m. Sunday, a dog with an injured leg on Ockley Lane was taken to the Bella Vista Animal Shelter. Benton County incidents

• At 7: 29 a. m. Friday, Anthony Foster reported the theft of a cargo trailer from 13179 Wishing Springs Road.

• At 1: 08 p. m. Sunday, Ralph Congrove reported his pickup truck was stolen from 24532 Welch Road.

• At 2: 02 p. m. Sunday, Fernando Trejos reported the theft of construction equipment from 13731 Gooseberry Road.

• At 9: 59 p. m. Sunday, Christy Mattox reported the theft of a ring. Bentonville incidents

• At 2: 18 p. m. Sunday, a caller reported that someone left a dog in a vehicle at the Wal-Mart Supercenter, 406 S. Walton Blvd.

• At 2: 54 p. m. Sunday, Neal Freeman reported stray dogs at 308 S. E. D St.

• At 5: 22 p. m. Sunday, Jim Caylor reported criminal mischief at the Wal-Mart Supercenter, 406 S. Walton Blvd.

• At 8: 11 p. m. Sunday, Aaron McMahan reported criminal mischief at 3104 N. W. Apple Harvest.

• At 1: 44 a. m. Monday, Todd Harris reported that someone had kicked in the door at 1001 S. E. Fifth St.

• At 1: 46 a. m. Monday, a caller reported an injured animal at 1300 S. W. 14 th St.

• At 2: 01 a. m. Monday, Kristen Bobsey reported an injured dog at 3800 S. W. Stonefield St.

• At 4: 34 a. m. Monday, James (no other name given ) reported that someone was trying to gain entrance to a residence at 2300 S. E. St. Andrews Blvd.

• At 5: 10 a. m. Monday, Matthew Burnett reported finding a debit card at Fastrip, 307 S. Walton Blvd.

• At 5: 27 a. m. Monday, Megan Thompson reported suspicious activity at the intersection of Elm Tree Road and Arkansas Highway 72 West.

• At 6: 53 a. m. Monday, Bill Conner reported a dead dog at the intersection of Southeast 14 th Street and Interstate 540.

• At 7: 24 a. m. Monday, Officer Cooper (no other name given ) at the Hillsborough (Fla. ) Police Department reported identity theft at the Wal-Mart Supercenter, 406 S. Walton Blvd.

• At 8: 16 a. m. Monday, Amesh Altitude reported a disturbance at the Bentonville Police Department, 908 S. E. 14 th St.

• At 8: 50 a. m. Monday, Dana Hope reported the theft of an Allied Waste grassclippings cart at 3203 N. W. Apple Harvest.

• At 8: 58 a. m. Monday, Daniel (no other name given ) reported a dead cat in the middle of North Walton Boulevard.

• At 9: 17 a. m. Monday, Rachel Vacek reported a stray dog at 707 N. W. 10 th St.

• At 9: 22 a. m. Monday, Glen (no other name given ) reported that four vicious dogs were roaming near 6202 S. W. Meadow Well Ave.

• At 9: 40 a. m. Monday, Crystal (no other name given ) reported a black snake in her kitchen at 1107 Royal Drive.

• At 9: 43 a. m. Monday, Collin Debbie reported that someone broke the window out of a work van at Pak-Mail, 1720 S. Walton Blvd.

• At 10: 40 a. m. Monday, Michelle Moore reported two injured dogs at the intersection of Arkansas 72 West and Tunbridge Drive.

• At 10: 50 a. m. Monday, a caller reported that dogs were run over at the intersection of Southwest Second Street and Elm Tree Road.

• At 10: 53 a. m. Monday, Bob Scholes reported that he was bitten by a cat at 711 W. Central Ave.

• At 11: 46 a. m. Monday, Olan Douthitt reported a dead cat at 211 S. W. F St.

• At 11: 05 a. m. Sunday, Ankit Modi reported his vehicle’s tires were slashed at 802 N. 14 th St.

• At 6: 33 p. m. Sunday, Connie Lashley reported graffiti at Town & Country Inn, 2102 S. Eighth St.
