Commission to vote on downtown parking

A lot split at the corner of Moberly and S. E. 28 th St.;

A large-scale development plan for The Studio Salon and Day Spa, 710 Tiger Blvd.;

A large-scale development plan for Best Collision, 1302 S. E. J St.;

A large-scale development plan for Kum & Go, 2710 S. E. Moberly Lane.

BENTONVILLE - Utilities renovations in downtown Bentonville have taxed the Square's parking spaces, but the city appears poised to lease property that would alleviate, but not completely, solve the problem.

The Bentonville Planning Commission will vote Tuesday on the lease of a lot at 219 N. Main St., north of Harp's.

According to Planning Services Manager Shelli Rushing, the ongoing construction on the Square eliminates 10 to 15 parking spaces depending on the phase of the project.
