The fifth annual "Fun in the Mud "all-terrain rodeo will be hosted by the Parks and Recreation Committee, in conjunction with the Gates Corp., on Nov. 4 at Veterans Park, located along Arkansas Highway 102 West.
Events are planned for riders of all ages, with younger age groups required to wear helmets. The sled pull has been replaced with a firetruck pull. The barrel races will have three divisions: professional, amateur and kids. The finale will, once again, be the classic mud pit.
Registration will begin at 9: 30 a.m. Events will begin at 10: 30 a.m. Entry fees will be $ 6 per event or three for $ 15. Admission is free, but donations will be accepted.
The Parks and Recreation Committee will sell commemorative T-shirts. There will also be a concession stand.
