Trump offers choirs tours to Europe

BENTONVILLE Ralf and Tiffiny Humbert, the owners of Trump Tours Inc. in Bentonville, are especially looking forward to May and June 2007.
Im from Germany, Ralf explained. Tiffiny, my wife, is from Missouri but lived in Europe for several years. We specialize in taking choirs to Germany, Italy and Ireland to sing. We think when you travel to Europe, you should sing in a cathedral or some beautiful setting. So, we arrange tours for people who like to combine their passion for music with their passion for travel.
The two festivals the Humberts are currently planning are the Martin Luther Festival of Choirs in Erfurt, Germany, in May of next year and the St. Patrick Festival of Choirs in Waterford, Ireland, the following month. Ralf said members of the choirs enjoy performing, as well as watching and listening to the other choirs. The festival in Germany is touted as a singing pilgrimage in the footsteps of Martin Luther. Part of the event will be held at the historic Augustinian Abbey where Luther lived as a monk. The choirs attending will be from all over the world, not only from the United States.
The Irish tour offers an opportunity to sing and meet other choirs while discovering the Emerald Isle. The festival is set in Waterford, the city of the famous crystal makers.
Community choirs or church choirs rather than professional choirs typically travel to the European festivals. The festivals are open to the public.
